Embrace beauty by letting go.
More than just a diuretic, it's a tea that supports healthy water metabolism.

Swelling isn't caused by drinking too much water.
It appears first in the face and legs when ingested water doesn't circulate properly and accumulates.
Heavy eyelids and a blurred facial contour. Even after washing with cold water and massaging, it persists throughout the morning, often leading to important appointments being postponed until the afternoon.
Even after just sitting all day, legs feel heavy by evening. There are days when boots that fit in the morning won't go on by night.
Yesterday's soup and late-night snack reveal themselves on your face this morning. The mirror tells you before the scale does.
You drink coffee for its diuretic effect. But if you drink it in the afternoon, it disrupts your sleep, and if you don't, your body feels heavier. You wish to manage it without caffeine.
Gongmi-cha is not a diuretic.
It is a traditional Korean herbal tea crafted for daily enjoyment.
Eleven ingredients are grouped into three pillars.
We openly disclose which ingredients belong to each pillar.
This pillar focuses on expelling accumulated water. The most fundamental pathways for reducing swelling are ultimately bowel movements and urination. Corn silk and Poria cocos support water metabolism, while Job's Tears strengthens the Spleen (脾) and helps remove dampness, preventing strain on the digestive system.
This pillar aims to promote circulation. Water accumulation is often due to sluggish circulation. Mugwort and Cinnamon Bark warm the cold, stiff lower abdomen and extremities, opening pathways, while Aged Tangerine Peel dries dampness in the digestive system, preparing the starting point for circulation.
This pillar supports the body, ensuring it doesn't just expel. Bamboo Leaf and Peppermint help descend upward-floating heat, Wheat and Lotus Seed soothe sensitivity, and Goji Berry replenishes Yin (陰) to prevent dryness. This is why it's non-caffeinated and can be enjoyed in the evening.
The fastest way to reduce swelling is through strong diuresis. Drinking coffee or relying on diuretic ingredients operates on the same principle. That evening, you certainly feel lighter.
The problem lies in the next day. If you only force water out, your body perceives a water deficit and retains more. This leads to more swelling the next day, and caffeine steals your sleep. Swelling management ends up being traded for a good night's rest.
Gongmi-cha addresses three directions simultaneously: expelling accumulated fluids (Corn Silk · Poria Cocos · Job's Tears), warming and opening sluggish circulation (Mugwort · Cinnamon Bark · Aged Tangerine Peel), and supporting the body after elimination (Bamboo Leaf · Wheat · Goji Berry · Lotus Seed · Peppermint). This is also why it is non-caffeinated.
Not a tea that forces out, but one that promotes circulation. Designed to be enjoyed once or twice a day, even in the evening, without disrupting sleep.
Gongmi-cha was directly formulated by a practitioner at Jaimdang Korean Medicine Clinic and launched in 2015. Subsequently, verification based on animal studies was conducted through industry-academia collaboration with Chonnam National University College of Pharmacy.

Not outsourced production, but at Jaimdang Bio's own production facility,
we directly handle everything from raw material selection, manufacturing, inspection, to packaging.
The ingredient composition was researched jointly by the Korean medicine doctors and herbal pharmacists of Jaimdang Korean Medicine Clinic,
while manufacturing is handled by Jaimdang Bio. Since the representatives of both entities are the same person,
no interpretation is needed between research and production.
We have not changed our prescriptions to follow trending ingredients. For 11 years, we have maintained the same approach in the same location, and the accumulated responses during this time have shaped our current formulations.
The decisions behind which ingredients to include or exclude, and the optimal concentration for balancing flavor and potency, are rooted in real-world clinical experience. The accumulated records of 200,000 individuals serve as Jaimdang's standard for selecting ingredients.
Beyond Korea, we prescribe to patients in 24 countries, including Japan and the United States. Our experience with patients of varying dietary habits and physiques has broadened our range of intensity adjustments.
Jaimdang Bio is not a factory that produces for various companies; we exclusively craft JAIMDANG products. This allows us to incorporate processes that require dedicating a single production line for extended periods.
We select raw materials according to the exact standards used by our Korean Medicine Clinic.
Gongmi-cha is also crafted under the same rigorous standards.
Plant-based ingredients traditionally used for swelling and water metabolism were carefully selected
and formulated to closely resemble traditional herbal medicine prescriptions used in clinics.
We openly disclose which ingredients fulfill which roles.
Clear Heat and Relieve Irritability (淸熱除煩) — Cools heat in the chest
Donguibogam · Bencao Gangmu — “Clears heart heat, relieves irritability, promotes urination.” Cools heart heat, aids urination, and reduces heat in the chest.
It holds the largest proportion. This ingredient primarily addresses the sensation of heat and stuffiness that often accompanies swelling.
Replenish Qi and Relieve Irritability (益氣除煩) — Boosts Qi and calms vexation
Donguibogam — “Nourishes the heart, calms the spirit, quenches thirst, and clears heat.” Nourishes the heart, stabilizes the mind, stops thirst, and reduces heat.
Placed alongside Bamboo Leaf as a 'chief' ingredient, it helps maintain balance, ensuring the formula doesn't solely focus on expulsion.
Strengthen Spleen, Promote Diuresis · Beauty (健脾利濕 · 美容)
An herb that strengthens the Spleen (脾) while expelling accumulated dampness (濕). Traditionally used for both swelling and skin health.
One of Gongmi-cha's key ingredients. It's a pillar that expels water without upsetting the digestive system.
Warm Meridians, Dispel Cold, Remove Dampness (溫經散寒除濕)
An herb that warms the meridians, disperses cold, and eliminates dampness. Used for cold lower abdomen and cold hands and feet.
Another key ingredient in Gongmi-cha. It targets cases where water accumulates due to coldness and sluggish circulation.
Promote Diuresis, Reduce Swelling (利水消腫)
Bencao Gangmu Shiyi — “Promotes diuresis and reduces swelling.” Helps facilitate urination and alleviate edema.
A representative ingredient of the 'drain' pillar. Its mild nature makes it suitable for a daily tea.
Promote Diuresis, Strengthen Spleen, Calm Spirit (利水健脾寧心)
Donguibogam · Bencao Gangmu — “Dries dampness, strengthens the Spleen, promotes diuresis, and reduces swelling.” Removes dampness, invigorates the Spleen, and reduces edema.
Spanning both the 'drain' and 'support' pillars, it gently promotes circulation without being overly forceful.
Tonify Kidney, Nourish Yin (補腎滋陰)
An herb that tonifies the Kidney (腎) and nourishes Yin (陰). It supports the body to prevent dryness from excessive expulsion.
When water is expelled, the body tends to retain even more. This ingredient is responsible for replenishment.
Regulate Qi, Strengthen Spleen (理氣健脾)
Donguibogam · Bencao Gangmu — “Regulates Qi, dries dampness, resolves phlegm, and stops vomiting.” Aids Qi circulation, dries dampness, and promotes digestion.
It tidies up the stomach, the starting point of circulation, and also makes the tea more palatable.
Clear Heart, Consolidate Essence · Tonify Spleen (淸心固精 · 補脾)
Donguibogam · Bencao Gangmu — “Clears heart heat, consolidates essence, tonifies the Spleen, and stops diarrhea.” Clears heart heat, stabilizes the spirit, and tonifies the Spleen.
An ingredient that allows this non-caffeinated tea to be part of an evening routine.
Warm the Middle, Unblock Yang (溫中通陽)
An herb that warms the interior and promotes Yang circulation. It opens up circulation that has become stagnant due to cold.
Along with Mugwort, it forms the 'warming and circulating' pillar.
Dispel Wind, Clear Heat (疏風淸熱)
An herb that disperses upward-floating heat and resolves Qi stagnation. Used for feelings of stuffiness in the head and face.
An ingredient that provides the finishing aroma.
